A Lemon Blueberry Lavender Cocktail is a sophisticated, fruity, citrusy, libation with an aromatic floral note from the lavender simple syrup.
This is a take on a mind-blowing drink that I was obsessed with during my years in Houston. This little dive bar made the BEST craft cocktails and I frequented the bar with my girlfriends at least once a week.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR THIS COCKTAIL?
The best part of making craft cocktails at home is that you can tailor the ingredients to meet your tastes or what you have on hand.
The biggest step for this recipe is making the lavender simple syrup. It’s such an easy thing to make and keep in your refrigerator. You’ll find yourself stirring it into cocktails, iced tea, or coffee.
You’ll need granulated, sugar, water, and dried lavender. If you like just a hint of lavender flavor, steep the lavender leaves for 30 minutes. Allow it to steep longer (up to 2 hours) for a stronger flavor.
You will also need blueberries, lemons, and blueberry vodka. Don’t have or don’t want to buy flavored vodka? Plain vodka is perfectly fine.
