WHAT IS THE STORY OF A BLUE HAWAII COCKTAIL?

As the story goes, this drink originated in 1957 at Honolulu’s Kaiser Hawaiian Village by the bartender, Harry Yee. Mr. Yee developed the drink to promote Blue Curacao. It was a huge hit.

Today, there are many versions of this cocktail, but why not stick with the original?

WHAT IS IN THIS SWEET, FRUITY, SUMMER COCKTAIL?

This drink has three different liquors in it, so it packs a punch.

Vodka
Spiced rum. You could also use a Malibu Spiced rum for a note of coconut.
Blue curacao. This gives the drink it’s signature blue color. It has a nice, mellow, orange flavor.
Pineapple juice
Sweet and Sour mix. Pick one that you enjoy.
