Highball glasses with Lemon Blueberry Lavender cocktails garnished with lemon twists, blueberries, and a sprig of fresh lavender.

This fruity, sophisticated drink has an aromatic note from the muddled lavender.  A Lemon Blueberry Lavender Cocktail will be your girl’s night go-to cocktail.

For the lavender simple syrup:

For the cocktail:

  • 10 fresh blueberries, plus more for garnish
  • 1-ounce fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1-ounce lavender simple syrup
  • 2-ounces blueberry vodka
  • Ice
  • Lavender sprigs for garnish

Make the lavender simple syrup.

In a small saucepan over high heat, whisk together the water and sugar until completely dissolved and the mixture turns clear.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove it from the heat.

Crush the lavender leaves between your palms and add them to the syrup.

Stir and allow to steep for 30 minutes.

Strain the lavender simple syrup into a container with a tight-fitting lid.  This can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Make the cocktail.

In a cocktail shaker or tall glass, muddle the blueberries until they are liquified.

Pour in lemon juice, lavender simple syrup, and blueberry vodka.

Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker is icy cold.

Strain the mixture into a fine-mesh strainer over a highball glass that is filled with ice and a couple of fresh blueberries.

Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh lavender.
