Summer calls for frosty tropical drinks, and this Kinky Colada is exactly what your upcoming 4th of July celebration is calling for! It’s the perfect fruity, sweet, and creamy concoction. It also packs a boozy wallop with two different types of rum and Kinky Aloha liqueur.
Since we won’t be traveling this 4th of July, I want our menu to feel like a vacation! I’ll be serving pitchers of Kinky Colada with KC Doritos Crusted Empanadas, Grilled Chili Lime Shrimp, Spicy Grilled Jerk Chicken, herby Chimichurri Potato Salad, Rosemary Garlic Grilled Vegetables, and cool, creamy Strawberry Cheesecake Paletas for dessert.
Kinky Aloha is a tasty blend of vodka, pineapple, coconut, and lime juice. It’s sweet and very tropical. This liqueur mixes well with vodka, rum, and even gin. You should be able to find this in the liqueur section of your liquor store.

½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
2 ounces Kinky Aloha liqueur
2 ounces dark rum
2 ounces spiced rum
2 ounces pineapple juice
2 ounces Coco Lopez coconut cream
1 ounce unsweetened coconut milk (from a can)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 ½ cups ice
Add all of the ingredients into a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a tall hurricane glass.
Garnish with an umbrella, a pineapple leaf, or a maraschino cherry.
Serve immediately.
