Kinky Aloha is a tasty blend of vodka, pineapple, coconut, and lime juice. It’s sweet and very tropical. This liqueur mixes well with vodka, rum, and even gin. You should be able to find this in the liqueur section of your liquor store.
Ingredients Needed
Fresh pineapple chunks – you’ll want to freeze them so your drink isn’t watered down. Save some time and buy the pre-cut pineapple chunks in your produce or freezer sections.
Kinky Aloha liqueur
Dark rum – I used Flor De Cana, but any will work.
Spiced rum – Captain Morgan is my go-to favorite, but Meyers or Sailor Jerry’s are also very nice.
Pineapple juice – I used Iberria Pineapple Nectar for this batch. I’ve also used Simply Pineapple juice when I can find it. I like these two because they’re less acidic than the canned brands. In a perfect world, juicing your own pineapple is optimal, but sadly not always practical.
Coconut cream – I used Coco Lopez in the white squeeze bottle or can. You can also use the unsweetened coconut cream in a can if you want less sweetness to your cocktail. Be sure to use coconut cream and NOT coconut milk.
Unsweetened coconut milk – use the one in a can for the best flavor. I like Thai Kitchen’s full-fat coconut milk.
Lime juice – use a citrus reamer and juice fresh limes. It makes a huge difference!
