I love almost anything with banana in it.  Banana cake, banana pudding, bananas foster – I love it all.  So when I’m craving a slice of banana cream pie and my grocery store is out of the frozen brand, This pie can be whipped up in no time.  The hardest part is waiting for it to chill!

Ingredients Required

  • Refrigerated pie crust or a graham cracker crust
  • Bananas – ripe, but not mushy
  • Lemon juice – to keep the bananas from browning
  • Whole milk and heavy cream – alternatively, you could use all half and half.
  • Instant pudding mix – I like using French vanilla, but regular vanilla or even banana cream works well.
