- Bananas – ripe, but not mushy
- Lemon juice – to keep the bananas from browning
- Whole milk and heavy cream – alternatively, you could use all half and half.
- Instant pudding mix – I like using French vanilla, but regular vanilla or even banana cream works well.
- Vanilla and banana flavoring
- Frozen whipped topping
Steps To Make This Pie
- Blind bake your pie shell and allow it to cool.
- Slice the bananas and toss them with lemon juice.
- Whisk together the pudding mix, milk, cream, vanilla, and banana flavoring, and some of the whipped topping.
- Pour the pudding over the bananas.
- Chill until set.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding.

Ingredients
1 refrigerated pie crust
3 ripe bananas
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 cups cold milk
½ cup cold heavy cream
2 (3.5-ounce) packages instant French vanilla pudding mix
½ teaspoon banana flavoring
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions
Bake the pie shell according to the package directions. Allow the shell to cool completely.
Slice the bananas, toss them with lemon juice, and place them in the bottom of the cool pie shell.
In a large bowl, combine the milk, heavy cream, pudding mix, and both flavorings. Whisk until thoroughly combined. Fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping.
Pour the mixture over the bananas in the pie crust.
Chill for at least 3 hours or until the pudding is set.
Spread the remaining whipped topping over top of the pudding.
