Hot Buttered Rum, full of buttery sweetness, rum, and spices is a perfect winter cocktail that will warm you from the inside out.

Ingredients

1 stick butter, room temperature

½ cup dark brown sugar

¼ cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground cloves

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon ground allspice

1 cup spiced rum

2 cups hot water

4 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl and using a hand mixer,  whip the butter, brown sugar honey, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice until creamy.

Spoon the butter mixture into a large 4-cup measuring cup.

Pour in the rum and boiling water.

Stir until the butter melts and the sugar is fully dissolved.

Evenly pour the mixture into 4 mugs.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
