A take on a NOLA classic, this Florida Hurricane Cocktail is a tropical, fruity drink that packs a punch with two types of rum.
2-ounces coconut rum
2-ounces dark rum
1-ounce guava juice
1-ounce pineapple juice
1-ounce orange juice
½-ounce grenadine
½-ounce simple syrup
½ medium lime, juiced
Slices of orange and maraschino cherry, for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Use a shot glass to measure and pour in all of the ingredients.
Cover tightly and shake until the outside of the shaker is icy cold.
Strain into a tall hurricane glass that is filled with ice.
Garnish with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry.
