  • Over the last few months a few coworkers and I have been in a “weight-loss-challenge”. Salads have been a big part of my diet. I get to be creative, sometimes intentionally and sometimes just to make sure nothing in the fridge goes to waste. I learned that strawberries and jalapenos are great together. I did not care for walnuts and canned tuna. Low-cal dressings seem to be a challenge. I wind up sabotaging my efforts while eating store-bought salads on the road. At home, I use hot sauce as dressing although it is high in sodium. I will definitely use fruit juice as a dressing!
